Temperamentni FlamencoLively Flamenco

Tuto neděli jsme byli pozváni s kamarádem kameramanem Liborem Svobodou do divadla na Noci Flamenca – Noche de Flamenco – večerního představení flamencového tanečního zoskupení Companía Flamenkería a jejich hostů. Měl jsem tak možnost nahlédnout do zákulisí a být nachvíli součástí kolektivu lidí, kteří svůj život zasvětili tomuto temperamentnímu a ikonickému tanci.
Flamenco není pouhý tanec. Je to láska k Španelsku, k jazyku, ke kytaře a k nezaměnitelnému rytmu. Nádherné kostýmy děvčat, sukně s volány, růže ve vlasech a na druhé straně napohled ležérní muzikanti, ale o to s větším zanícením a dokonalým zpěvem a hrou na kytaru.
Bylo neskutečné pozorovat španelskou tanečnici Blancu, s jakou láskou a koncentrací se při zkoušce pohybuje v rytmech flamenca. Jeden z kytaristů s perfektní španelštinou a pro flamenco typicky zabarveným hlasem byl na moje překvapení ze Slovenska 🙂 Když během vystoupení zahrál pro nedávno zesnulého španelského kytaristu Paca, potlesk byl dlouhý a úpřimný.
Soubor tvoří 5 tanečnic a je hezké vidět středoevropanky tak zapálené pro tento jižanský tanec. Při vystoupení je doplňovali kluci bubnující na – promiňte moji laickou frázi – krabice. Sál divadla, kde museli přidávat extra židle, se náramně bavil a úžasné vystoupeni plné horkých rytmů a divokých barev ocenilo dlouhým potleskem a souhlasnými pokřiky. Když budete mít tu možnost, zajděte se na flamenco určitě podívat. Stojí to za to!

This Sunday I was asked by my friend cameraman Libor Svoboda to assist him with filming of the “NIght of Flamenco”, an evening performance of a flamenco ensemble Companía Flamenkería and other guests. I had the opportunity – even just for a while – to be backstage, to be a part of a group of people who committed their lives to this lively and iconic dance. It is a love, a passion for Spain, for the language, for the guitar and the irredeemable rhytm. Wonderful girls’ costumes, skirts with ruffles, roses in hair and on the other hand seemingly casual musicians, but with such an enthusiasm and perfect singing and guitar skills.
It was unbelievable to watch spanish dancer Blanca during the probe, with what a love and concentration she was moving in the rhytm of flamenco. One of the guitarists with perfect spanish and for the flamenco typical tone of voice was – to my surprise – from Slovakia 🙂 When he played a song for the lately deceased famous spanish flamenco musician Paco, the applause was sincere and long.

The dance group consists of 5 dancers and it is nice to see Central Europians so committed for this southern dance. The theatre was sold out, they even brought extra chairs. Everyone had a great time enjoying the hot rhytm and wild colours and it was all closed by a long appaluse and positive comments. If you ever have a chance to see flamenco performance, go for it. It’s definitely worth it!
