Last Saturday we had chance to be part of one beautiful and spiritual international wedding in Prague. Monika, Czech girl and her fiancé Wole from Uk. Guests coming from three different parts of the world arrived to watch them get married in the church of St. Jilji in Old Town and celebrate their bond at the romantic venue in the Letensky chateau.
The preparations had everything necessary – smiley bride and groom, enthusiastic made of honor and best man, bottle of champagne ready to be popped and Czech traditional wedding cakes. One of the most interesting parts – getting into the wedding dress has been captured and so we left for the church to capture guests arriving, as well as the majestic interior of the St. Jilji. Bride Monika arrived last in a stylish Oldtimer and the wedding ceremony could begin. The speech from the priest was very moving, touching every single individual, not just bride-and-groom-to-be..
The locations for our Prague wedding photo session with newlyweds were New world and nearby gardens. With just few spectators around we could try out capture some new settings and even freshen up Monika in the garden fountain 🙂 After the session we came to the venue and the wedding dinner could begin. Whether sitting inside or being outside on the terrace and in the park, everyone was enjoying themselves and the great weather. After cutting the wedding cake (with a dangerously looking sword) the surprise of the evening came – the newlyweds’ first dance. It was skillfully (and with passion for rhytm) mastered first dance combining classical dance with 70’s disco moves, no wonder they managed to get all of their guests dance…
We believe they danced and danced long after we left this happy place and everyone is caring the best memories of this beautiful July wedding in Prague…
